Conveniently located within the University District, Rowan University has been an integral part of the Camden community for over 40 years. As a full branch campus with academic majors, graduate programs and general education courses, Rowan at Camden is committed to providing a quality education in an urban college setting. Recently, Rowan University partnered with Cooper University Hospital to create the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, the first medical school to be built in New Jersey in 30 years. Rowan University at Camden is proud to offer numerous outreach programs to Camden residents, including English as a Second Language programs, pre-college services for city youth and a preschool for 3- and 4-year old children.
